General Sterk Long & Strong Review

After being impressed with the new slim portion design of  General Long snus, I was excited to try General Sterk Long & Strong. Manufactured by Swedish Match, General Long & Strong combines the slim design of 01 Original Portion snus with the kick of General Sterk. Each can of General Long contains 26 portions, which gives it 2 more portions than the average can of snus!

Taste:

Upon putting a portion of General Sterk Long & Strong in my mouth, I noticed a strong tobacco taste with peppery undertones. After a little while, I also began to detect hints of lemon (although the lemon flavor was not nearly as strong as the one found in General Onyx). The snus was a bit salty, however it never gave me any burning sensation like Skruf Stark does. G.L.&S has 14mg of nicotine per portion, classifying it as a strong portion snus. Having been on a bit of a strong portion kick lately with Thunder Berry,I found that General Long & Strong provided me with a good nicotine hit which was a bit slower in onset than that of Thunder Berry. I would imagine that this is due to the drier nature of General Long & Strong.

The portions of General Long & Strong are very well designed, and fit comfortably in my mouth. Compared to regular sized portions, Long & Strong’s portions are very discreet and easy to conceal. Thanks to a perfected formula, General Long & Strong produces very little drip, and I was able to keep portions in for over an hour without any issue. I find that I can keep General Long brand snus in for the longest amount of time before it produces any drip.

Conclusion:

Overall, General Long & Strong is a solid choice for those who enjoy a tobacco flavored snus with a kick. Although I’m more a fan of General Onyx in terms of taste, General Long & Strong offers a superior portion design producing little to no drip.
