Icetool 3ml Review
Posted by James in Snus accessoriesFor most of my snus career, I have been using portioned snus. I find loose snus to be difficult to form in most cases (although some brands such as Ettan are quite easy to form), and whenever I would attempt it, my portions would fall apart in my hands. However, A few days ago, I was fortunate enough to receive a sample Icetool straight from the manufacturer in order to review here on snus authority. Although I have never previously tried an Icetool, I had always heard good things from others who have, so my level of excitement was quite high.
The Icetool comes in elegant black packaging, and once opened you can see the tool in its true beauty. Crafted out of solid aluminum, my Icetool came in a beautiful blue color, and is of the 3ml variety. Both 4ml and 5ml varieties of the Icetool are also available, and they have a larger circumference which allows you to pack more snus inside.
Once I tried using the Icetool, I fell in love. To use it, simply pull back the plunger to the desired length, fill it with snus, compress the snus, and then pop the portion into your mouth. Each time I used it, the portions came out nicely formed, and were much easier to deal with than my hand baked ones! Cleaning the Icetool was easy and generally involves just a quick wipe down after each use.
Overall, the Icetool is an excellent product which makes dealing with loose snus markedly easier. The sturdy aluminum should last for ages without breaking down or needing any maintenance besides the occasional cleaning and oiling. I use a little dab of olive oil every now and then, and so far its been working great.
