General Smooth Review

A few months ago, Swedish Match added a new brand to the General lineup called General Smooth. Described as being a “a medium-bodied smooth tobacco flavor with a hint of bergamot, herbs and tea”, General Smooth has 7mg of nicotine per .65 gram pouch, versus 8 mg of nicotine in a regular 1 gram portion of snus.

Upon putting a portion in my lip, I slowly began to notice a taste of tobacco, with possibly a little bit of bergamot. The flavor reminded me of a toned down General Long, and was quite nice for a very mild tobacco flavored snus.

One of my favorite things about General Smooth is the fact that it has very little drip. A portion of Smooth Flavor generally lasts me well over an hour without getting uncomfortable in my lip.

General Smooth flavor is a nice snus with a tobacco dominant flavor. It is especially great to use without anyone noticing (smaller size plus a good nicotine kick), and the slim portion design is quite comfortable.
