Goteborgs Rape No2 Snus

Goteborgs Rapé  No2 is a brand of Snus manufactured by Swedish Match. Launched in 2006, the name has quickly become the fourth biggest brand of Snus in Sweden (source), and it is available in loose, white, and mini portions. Today I will be reviewing the standard white portion.

Taste

After putting the portion in, I noticed a smooth mix of berry and herbs. The berry taste was reminiscent of raspberry and cranberry, and was very tasty. The subtle herbal flavor reminded me of basil, and it compliments the berry taste very well. Like Jakobsson’s Icefruit Snus, I did not really taste the tobacco flavor, but it didn’t matter for this Snus. I was also able to leave the Snus in for around an hour before taking it out, and even then I was still able to taste some of the flavor.

Portion

The material that the portion was made out of fit comfortably in my lip, and I was able to keep it in for about an hour before I felt the need to remove it. It also didn’t burn my lip at all, nor did it create a lot of juice which is nice. The portions contain approximately one gram of tobacco in each, and there is 24 portions per can. The nicotine content of the Snus was 8mg of nicotine per portion, making it an average Snus in terms of nicotine content.

Conclusion

Overall, I found Goteborgs Rapé No2 to be a delicious tasting Snus, and I believe that I will be adding it to my daily rotation. I’m starting to really enjoy Snus flavored with fruit, as it provides a delicious taste along with a great nicotine kick. I highly recommend you give Goteborgs Rapé Snus a try!
