Nick & Johnny Black Snus review
Posted by James in Snus reviewsIntroduced in 2009, Nick & Johnny Black is a white-style Snus in a black pouch, and is manufactured by Swedish Match. N&J Black is the newest Snus to be added to the already successful Nick and Johnny lineup of Snus.
Taste
Nick & Johnny Black is a white portion Snus, so the flavor takes a little longer than an original portion to become apparent. The flavor of the Snus is tobacco, with a little hint of bergamot, and it tastes quite nice. The nicotine hit is higher than usual, because Nick & Johnny Black is a stark portion, and has a nicotine content of around 11mg per portion (compared to 8mg per portion for standard Snus). I enjoyed the taste, as I am a Snuser who likes his tobacco flavor!
An excellent Snus with a good nicotine kick
Portion Design
When creating N&J Black, Swedish Match decided to arrange the portions in a star pattern in the can. Not only does this make for a cool looking design, but it also shapes the Snus into a comfortable wedge style portion that fits in my mouth perfectly. The portion itself is made out of a comfortable material, and I can leave N&J Black portions in for a long period of time before they start to drip a little.
Conclusion
I really enjoy Nick & Johnny Black Snus. I love the tobacco taste, and the stronger than normal nicotine kick that I got when I popped a portion in. The portions themselves are long lasting, and fit in my mouth comfortably. This is one of my go to brands of Snus when I need that extra nicotine kick, and I highly recommend that you give it a try!
