Oden’s Extreme Portion Review

Oden’s Extreme is a newly released snus from GN Tobacco which packs quite a punch. At 22mg of nicotine per gram of snus, Oden’s extreme is by far the brand of snus with the highest nicotine content. Upon receiving a few cans to try, I was both excited and a little worried. I generally tend to use regular and strong portion snus, so I’m not used to such large quantities of nicotine at one, however I do enjoy having both Thunder Coola and Skruf Xtra Stark on occasion.

Odens Extreme, quite strong!

Prior to tasting Oden’s Extreme, I noticed that it had a strong smokey aroma to it, and I quite enjoyed the aroma. Upon trying a portion of Oden’s Extreme, I was greeted with an interesting tobacco taste. I found the tobacco flavor to be complimented by an element of  spice which was tasty but not overbearing. The snus was relatively dry, and as a result I found that it dripped very little. The nicotine hit was quite strong, yet it was a little slower to the onset than other high-nicotine brands such as Thunder Coola and Berry which I feel simulate the rush cigarettes provide. I managed to keep this snus in for about 15 minutes, but I could imagine a more tolerant snuser could leave it in for up to an hour without experiencing drip.

Overall, Oden’s Extreme is a tasty snus with a mix of spice and tobbacco flavor. I recommend this brand to those who are looking for a high nicotine snus, but with a long lasting taste!
