Skoal Smooth Mint Review
Posted by James in Snus reviewsJust the other day, I received a package from Northerner containing a few different tins of American snus in order for me to review here on Snus Authority. Released only a few months ago, Skoal snus is now available at a large number of retail outlets in the United States in both Mint and Smooth mint flavors.
I really like the tin design
Upon putting a portion in my mouth, I noticed that the portions were quite large, yet fit relatively comfortably in my upper lip. The flavor of the snus was quite sweet and reminded me a lot of General Mini Mint. The snus was a little on the weak side in comparison to the Swedish snus I’m used to, but it still did give me a bit of a buzz. My only real complaint is that the flavor is a bit overly sweet for my tastes, and I cant detect any hint of tobacco flavor with this snus.
The portions were a nice size
Overall, Skoal Smooth Mint isn’t my favorite snus, but it is a much better offering than Marlboro snus if you’re looking to pick up some snus locally and can’t find a Swedish brand. For those of you who enjoy very sweet flavored snus brands, I recommend giving Skoal Smooth Mint a try!
Tastes like they use Saccharin to me. Way too sweet and not a sugar sweet! Would not reccommend! Takes forever for sickly sweet taste to fade after you rid the pouch! Save your money!
I just bought the Skoal Mint Snus today and have to say it is dam good. Tastes similar to General Mint. The portions are really large, I’d rather they were smaller like some of the swedish brands but all in all I’m impressed.
