Thunder Frosted Extra Stark Mini Review
Posted by James in Snus reviewsCreated by V2 Tobacco in 2009, Thunder Mini is a mini portion snus that contains the same amount of nicotine (8mg per portion) as a regular portion snus!
Taste
Upon trying a portion of Thunder Mini, I immediately tasted a cold minty flavor that reminded me of a cross between wintergreen and peppermint. Being a mini portion, the flavor is a little less noticeable than a regular portion snus, and I find that the flavor wears off relatively quickly. However this is to be expected with a mini portion snus, so I don’t see this as being a real problem. I kept a portion of Thunder Mini in for around 30 minutes and it was quite tasty during this time.
Portion
The portions are where this snus really shines. Being a mini variety of snus, Thunder Mini’s portions are significantly smaller than a regular portion, and this makes them much easier to conceal in your lip. The material the portion is made out of is comfortable, and I didn’t have any issues for the 30 minutes that I had it in my mouth (however, it did begin to lose its flavor around this time). Thunder Mini portions have .5 grams of tobacco in them as opposed to the standard 1 gram found in regular portions.
Conclusion
Although the flavor of Thunder Mini does not last as long as a regular portion snus, its small size of makes it very easy to conceal. Overall, Thunder Mini is a great snus for times when you need to be discreet while using snus, but still want a nice nicotine kick.
